Grievance & Disciplinary Policies
The Employment Rights Act requires employers to provide employees with a written statement specifying particulars of dismissal and disciplinary proceedings. The particulars must specify the disciplinary rules which as a bare minimum should comply with new statutory procedures.
Failure to comply with statutory procedures can be costly in terms of tribunal time and compensation. We can review current procedures and implement procedures as required by legislation.
MCA will review Grievance and Disciplinary Policies and Performance Management issues. MCA can further review Human Resource policies and procedures including the options relating to staff contracts and handbooks to establish the client’s position on these issues, plus a review of appropriate information relating to hours and holiday entitlements allowing individual staff contracts to be completed. A bespoke staff handbook and individual staff contracts will then be written.
